Pune Ashtavinayak Darshan by Cab: 2 Day and 3 Day Package, Route and Order

Maharashtra Pune Cab Trips

By Bharat Yatra Team · · 2 min read

The Ashtavinayak yatra covers eight self-manifested Ganpati temples around Pune, Raigad and Ahmednagar. Tradition says to begin and end at Morgaon, and doing the yatra by cab means you can complete it comfortably without juggling buses between small villages.

Quick facts

  • Distance from Pune: Full circuit is roughly 600 to 650 km starting and ending in Pune
  • Drive time: 3 days relaxed; a tight 2-day version is possible but tiring
  • Best time to go: October to February; avoid Ganesh Chaturthi and Angarki Chaturthi crowds unless you want that atmosphere
  • Ideal for: Devotees and families, including senior citizens

Suggested itinerary

  • Day 1: Theur (Chintamani), Ranjangaon (Mahaganapati), then Siddhatek (Siddhivinayak) and Morgaon (Mayureshwar).
  • Day 2: North of Pune near Junnar: Ozar (Vighnahar) and Lenyadri (Girijatmaj) darshan, then return or continue.
  • Day 3: Mahad (Varadvinayak) and Pali (Ballaleshwar) via the Lonavala–Khopoli route, then return to Pune.
  • Note on the order: Many devotees visit Morgaon first and again at the end. Your driver and our team can arrange the order you follow for your family tradition.

What a cab package usually includes

  • Private AC cab with a verified driver (sedan, Ertiga/Innova or Tempo Traveller – your choice)
  • Fuel, tolls, parking and driver allowance
  • Pickup and drop at your home, society or hotel in Pune
  • Flexible stops for food, photos and washroom breaks

Usually not included:

  • Temple/monument entry tickets, boating, rides and activities
  • Meals and hotel stay (unless you book a stay package)
  • Personal expenses and any extra km or waiting beyond the agreed plan

Practical tips

  • Temple darshan timings and queues differ; early morning is the calmest.
  • Lenyadri involves a long climb of steps; senior citizens may prefer a doli.
  • Book stays early on Chaturthi days and weekends.
  • Wear modest clothes and carry a few small notes for offerings.
